Last Year (2008) over 70 kayakers hit the Cotee River to raise money for the United Way of Pasco County. The Kayak Race is one of the many fundraising events that take’s place during the two weeks of the Chasco Fiesta.

We have made arrangements with two kayak rental companies to give anyone participating in the race that needs to rent a kayak, a special rate. All you need to do is call one of the companies, let them know you are participating in the event and want to rent a kayak for the race. The special rates are:

Tandem - $15.00,
Single - $10.00

There are a limited amount of kayaks to rent so make your reservations early.
