Up to 90% of a child’s brain has developed before the age of 5. Quality early education experiences are important to all children, but especially so for those who are potentially at risk. A good start to life ensures that more youth will graduate from high school. As a national movement, our goal is to cut America’s high school dropout rate in half by 2018.
We are committed to building a stronger financial future for individuals and families in Pasco County. We can help hard-working families put their lives back together. By 2018 1.9 million more families are financially stable. We focus our efforts on adult education, training and retention, home ownership counseling and financial literacy.
Many people in our area face severe challenges and are unable to meet their basic needs. United Way of Pasco County will continue to help with those needs.
