United Way Annual Allocation

Purpose of Funding: |
|
To provide services which meet genuine community needs and that do not duplicate already existing service programs. Pending maintenance of Agency in good standing status and continued success of the campaign.
Other Details: The level of funding is based on the performance of the program. All United Way of Pasco county funds must be used for services provided in Pasco County only. Unless otherwise state, the functional use of these funds is restricted to the applied for program only. |

Monthly (12 equal payments) beginning July 1 of the United Ways fiscal year following the review. |

Purpose of Funding: |
|
To fund programs that provide needed human service to the citizens of Pasco County either as matching funds or for operational expenses.
Other Details: The United Way is asked to make funding recommendations to the Pasco County Board of Commissioners who then approve the final awards.
Fund Distribution: Monthly (12 equal payments) beginning in October (start of the Countys fiscal year). Distribution is from Pasco County Government. |

Energy Neighbor Fund

Purpose of Funding: |
|
to provide funds to assist Progress Energy Corporation residential customers who are experiencing difficulty in paying their energy bills (includes: electricity, gas, wood oil). |

Other Details: |
|
Agencies selected to participate must be capable of covering specific geographic areas of the county and have sufficient client capacity. Progress Energy and United Way set specific requirements for participating agencies. |

Monthly (approximately the middle of the month) year round. |
